Jazz on the Avenue is pleased to have the Lars Potteiger New York Trio headline the next series concert set for Friday, September 27, 7:00 p.m., at the Yocum Institute for Arts Education.
Lars Potteiger maintains a busy schedule as performer, composer, producer, recording artist, and clinician. He also is an Adjunct Instructor of Music (Piano/History) at Albright College.
Lars has a reputation for being a soulful improvisor that likes taking risks and exploring uncharted waters with his music.
Lars has performed with many jazz artists, including singer Carolyn Leonhart (Steely Dan), Grammy-winning tenor saxophonist Wayne Escoffery, bassist Francois Moutin, NEA Jazz Master Phil Woods, flutist Jamie Baum, and Frank London of the Klezmatics and Hasidic New Wave. 
For this Jazz on the Avenue concert, Lars will be joined by his New York band featuring Dmitry Ishenko on bass and Rob Mitzner on drums.
